We are excited to embark on yet another ASCD Conference adventure! Every year we have the pleasure of meeting with educators from around the world at the ASCD Annual Conference and Exhibit Show and this year is no exception. We enjoy learning and growing with you and are always glad to have the opportunity to meet with you and your colleagues.

Meet Our Team!

Jason Mendenhall

Jason Mendenhall is the Rubicon Partner with primary responsibility for Product Development, Product Deployment, and Professional Development.  While he is experienced in strategic planning, product development, publishing, sales, and project management, Mr. Mendenhall’s passion is finding ways maximize learning through student-centered teaching and learning strategies.  Mr. Mendenhall has bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Literature and a master’s degree in teaching from Pacific University.

Soraya Stelle

Soraya Stelle has primary responsibility for managing Rubicon’s client relationships throughout the Southern and Southwestern United States.  In that capacity, she has assisted schools and districts implement their mapping process in support of a range of pedagogical approaches and program methodologies.  Ms. Stelle consults with schools and districts domestically and internationally throughout all phases of their curriculum mapping process.

Ms. Stelle also plays a lead role in Rubicon’s Educational Foundation, which supports initiatives around the world that build educational capacity and provide education for children whose opportunities have been limited.   She has years of intercultural communication and ESL teaching experience.  Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Ms. Stelle has lived and worked in numerous countries, including Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Australia, the UK, Korea and the US. She has a BA in American Studies and a Certificate in English Language Teaching.

Brock Storfa

Brock Storfa brings diverse corporate and educational experience to the Rubicon Team. Mr. Storfa’s breadth of technical knowledge ranges from system design to data mining and analysis. He has applied his marketing and project management skills to launch an online community and has led complex teams in adverse conditions. With Rubicon, Mr. Storfa has functioned in a number of capacities and currently leads the Marketing Team. He received his MBA from Willamette University.

Miguel Rodriguez

Miguel Rodriguez is a native of Brazil and has called cities in Florida, New York, North Carolina, and Spain home. Mr. Rodriguez holds a MSc in International Management from ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a BA in Economics from Davidson College in Davidson, NC. Through approaching curriculum development in purposeful, creative, and deliberate ways, Miguel supports schools throughout the Southeast and Brazil in making the most of the power within their curriculum maps. Miguel’s professional experiences, ranging from finance to fast food to education, help him see the multiple intelligence in all of us, and connect with those around him in even more meaningful ways. When not supporting Rubicon’s business, Miguel enjoys staying active through running, swimming, and ultimate Frisbee.
